New Illuminations featured in Book Arts-UK!

Book Arts is a multi-faceted project through the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol that undertakes research projects, regularly publishes articles and essays, and curates exhibitions and public lectures to “promote the study of book arts nationally and internationally…” and to “widen critical discourse within the book arts field”.

Among their many publications, they also publish The Book Arts Newsletter every four to six weeks. We are happy to share that HAYP 8.0 “New Illuminations” was featured in their February 2017 edition! HAYP Pop Up Gallery thanks artist, Suzi Baum for her essay and submission to the newsletter. You can read the excerpt below, or download the full pdf here.
