Aerial Dance Performance at Forty-Four Sky Bar
On June 23rd, HAYP Pop Up Gallery organized a special summer event, an Aerial Dance Performance at Forty-Four Sky Bar, on the rooftop of Opera Suite Hotel, in Yerevan.
Marcela Perez, a visiting artist from Argentina, gave two aerial dance performances. Hanging from the very original open structure of Forty-Four Sky Bar, Marcela Perez explored the space in three-dimensions with very powerful and graceful movements.
This event was made possible with the support of our partners: Forty-Four Sky Bar, Opera Suite Hotel and the Armenian Alpine Club.

Pop Up Workshop for Hartak Festival at Aeon
HAYP’s second event of the Spring was on June 25th, a workshop on “How to make your own pop-up” in the framework of Hartak Experience Exchange Festival 2016, at Aeon anti-café.
This workshop was about how to transform your idea into reality through the “pop-up” format. A “pop up” has become a popular model in different cities around the world over the past few years. It is an entreprise that appears temporarily in various places, and can have endless possibilities in terms of both the sphere and space.
This workshop was a mix of presentation and hands-on work. With the participants, we went over the following: concept development, project-proposal basics (presentations, budgeting), market research (product history, public need, potential partnerships), etc.
The workshop was aiming to be fun, engaging and educational.
Hopefully new shops, restaurant, cafés or other concepts will pop up in Yerevan soon!
It was the first time we organized and led a workshop, and our participants rated our workshop based on various factors. Here are their feedback:
